To run a new PB time in a race or undertake a hard speed or tempo session in training IS HARD AT SOME POINT ON THE MIND as well as the lungs and legs. I have put together some thoughts on mental strength training to help you overcome the point where you want to slow down or stop or overcome those pre race nerves.
