Based in Stratford upon Avon, yourraceday.co.uk was formed in 2007 by former runner and triathlete Mike Simkiss.

"In 2001, I left theatre management to run my own business in Web site design and providing other Internet related services. I felt that combining these skills with many years photographic experience would be a great way of keeping in touch with the sport I have been involved with and loved for many years.

"I have talked and listened to many athletes and the overwhelming response has been that photographs by professional event photographers are far too expensive so it has been my aim to provide a first class quality service at sensible and affordable prices."
